An Aesop’s Fables, called “The Gardener and His Dog,” goes something like this: A gardener’s dog was playing in a garden near a well and then fell in. The owner-gardener ran to help. He reached his hand into the well to pull out his dog. But as the gardener did this – the dog bit him on the hand! “What very ungrateful behavior! I only came to help!” said the gardener. So, he left the dog and walked away. The dog bit that hand that was there to help (or fed) him.
This photo, taken 3/1/22, 2:30p show an apparent homeless man eating on the public sidewalk which is directly in front of a storefront (Chocolate on a Mission) which subsidizes, from their retail sales, the public feeding operation (River of Life Mission) just a few steps away. River of Life Mission moving their operations from Chinatown with their mentally unstable, ungrateful individuals in tow would help businesses thrive including their own Chocolate on a Mission retail shop.
