Please see those photos I took around my property. The homeless are getting more aggressive sometimes asking for more money. My ground floor tenant refused to pay $1 and the homeless hit the door loudly. When I tried to chase two homeless away, they try to stab me with a knife and hit me with a metal rod. Luckily, the police stopped them. Otherwise, I won’t be here talking.
I felt bad about the residence there. They love Chinatown but they have to leave.
I felt bad about people like building and my building to deal with the day and night challenges.
I felt bad about young investors like John Davenport and Dean Sakamoto, and myself. They invest so much time and money for what they think a great investment. We may all exit with the loss and frustration.
I felt good about the recent success fighting the homeless issue with Carol, Kevin and Chu Lan, Govenor Abercrombie, Fran and many of us, join together as one voice.
It takes 50 years to build a culture, but can destroy in one day. We have more national registries and recognition in our special district than any other places on the island, preserve it and not destroy it.
