since “mama” retirement, closure of Happy World liquor store on the corner of N. Hotel and River St. one week ago, the new “Happy World” is along the sidewalk on N. Hotel St. Over the last few days, CW members report seeing drug use, drinking alcohol, urinating and defecating at this spot. See photo, would you be willing to walk past this camp; this is not good for the two merchants nearby.
Why are they allowed to camp, sit/lie in front of Winston Hale and (formerly) Happy World? Seems like this is where those that hung around River St. for years, have now started to stay along this section of N. Hotel St.
