Few merchants have reported seeing her do it before and said ‘watch her’. One day months ago, CW member saw her and had caught her red handed inside an elderly woman open purse taking her smartphone out. She would pretend to be reaching for grocery at Kekaulike Market while another hand is reaching into the unknowing shopped next to her. During that incident, the CW member grab her arm, squeezed and said ‘What are you doing’, she immediately let go and ran off. The elderly (a Chinese popo) would-be-victim was thankful.
Since then, she’s been spotted around Chinatown on and off, today CW member was able to get a closer view of her and provide this photo of her.
Hairdo and clothes changes yet she generally wears glasses, and the tattoos on her left upper arm and left lower calf is distinctive to spot her trying to fit around the shoppers and in the market. She’s approximately in her late 40s-mid 50s, weighing 150-160 lbs, 5’5″-5’7″ tall.
Would love to see her pickpocket the wrong person and get what’s coming to her.
Word on the street is she’s done well over many years stealing from the Kekaulike Market elderly Asian shoppers. ;(
