Yet a beautiful day of sunshine but this unsightly nuisance. Why can park users who are homeless are able to just leave their stuff along the sidewalk while sit, lie, co-mingle with other homeless individuals inside the Smith-Beretania Park in Chinatown.
IS this “new” city administration going to do something about the junk left all day long along pedestrian sidewalks?
Seems like my rights are violated by seeing and walking by these shopping cart but who cares, the ACLU reminds us about the rights of someone who is homeless ? Yeah ok. “oh poor thing, have a heart, they are homeless and struggling”. Yeah right, many of us are struggling to pay rent and bills. The park is a great place for all to enjoy; much more that a nap it seems. During a recent community clean-up at this park cleaners found needles and other drug paraphrenia all over including near the basketball court and playground equipment..
So tell me again who is in charge here? Explain to me why are these unsightly carts, illegally removed then used on the streets, filled with trashy belongings are allowed on our sidewalks of Chinatown?
