Today 11:25a, Thursday 12/16/21 this immigrant produce worker at 555 Market at the Kekaulike Mall decides to prune taro then shrink wrap it there and put it up for sale.
The issue is sanitation; she is working inside a filthy empty planter on the Mall; the city has not maintained these empty planters for years and has mainly become a trash receptacle.
Ewwwwww, my taro is being process in a trash can because it’s convenient? CW member tells this produce worker in Mandarin (paraphrasing) “C’mon sistah- dats pilau, wats wrong wit you?”
Who else shares the same concerns and issue here? .
