Safe Haven managed Public toilets open from 7 am to 7 pm – lots of toileting done on Hotel, King, River , Pauahi & Maunakea & Smith – filled with sleeping bodies – the filth n card board trash left by these folks add a lot of work to our Environmental Team- we should consider plaster bins to keep them from breaking open trash bags n tearing into cardboards which end up littering the streets.
A night trash pick up might be considered? This way no cardboards left to grab for bedding.
