Kudos to Ali’i security, the private contractor working for the City in addressing known homeless drunk, ‘Mark’ who was yelling at people on the Mall. Security guard walked alongside ‘Mark’ until he left the Kekaulike Market and Mall. Mark ends up sitting/lying somewhere on N, King St. less pedestrian traffic.
It’s sad that everyday there’s always a few intoxicated individuals roam the Mall, and neighboring streets causing a nuisance and safety concerns for those who live, work and shop in Chinatown. Would it make sense to have the police be tougher on enforcement of public drunkenness and drug abuse causing many of these individuals to lash out??
