Deranged man walking and acting crazy on the N Hotel St. He was on N Hotel Street, not the sidewalk mind you. While I was calling 911, this individual eventually smashes the window of an incoming TheBus. Just before he was dancing on the street.
Sadly a HPD Sergeant and the OTS transit supervisors now need to deal with unloading the entire bus and complete the report writing. Other responding HPD officers (we saw 3 others) chased this individual down, a few blocks away. 15 minutes later HPD Officer Hurley reports that they are taking this individual in for a mental evaluation. Let’s hope he gets institutionalized and well before being released.
Witness recalls seeing him on the street yesterday singing loudly and acting crazy.
