We see this known homeless man gets ‘knuckles’ from a the City’s CORE (Crisis Outreach Response Engagement) team this morning on N, Hotel St.
The team takes the time to outreach and engage always showing compassion and respect as they try to help this elderly homeless man.
Sadly he didn’t accept their help, again; within minutes two street people shows up and he’s further “engaged” with free alcoholic beverage and drugs.
let’s hope CORE continues to keep working with these chronic homeless people..
Our community leaders need to find a way to END the flow of drugs, esp meth; our Chinatown streets has too easy access to illegal drugs and cheap booze.
