he’s caught on camera trying to break into the secured fire exit door on Maunakea St.; video shows him pulling out and running a credit card from his wallet into the lock set.
Apparently he was looking to access the adjacent garage where his car was parked and the garage is closed (well after 11:45p when the garage is closed). Video shows he was likely intoxicated, pulling doors and calling the building’s enterphone at 3 a.m. and asking people for help. Residents were awaken and upset, no one let him in. This punk is not welcome around Chinatown.
He’s wanted for criminal property damage for vandalizing the entry gate into the garage as he tried to get in, the HPD Police Report is # 22-025688.
