Over the last several mornings, this older homeless man comes to the Kekaulike Mall, a city park and sets up in the morning and slouches over for a nap and doesn’t move. He’s surrounds himself with some trash and slow to respond perhaps he’s resistant when asked if he’s ok and he needs to get up and leave. This morning Chinatown Watch member asking him to move along, he wasn’t as responsive so we called HPD officers to the scene.
He may be on medication or not; he may be intoxicated or not, looking at the way he is slouched over and slow to respond, – HE NEEDS HELP.
Moving him away for a few hours and chances are, sadly he will be back again tomorrow or sooner.
